Fasteners Inc. Acquires Rigging Company

Spokane, WA-based Fasteners Inc. acquired the inventory and equipment of Acco Cable Splicing, a Troy, MT-based rigging company.
Bill Jones, Fasteners Inc. general manager, said the company hired Acco Cable’s two previous owners and is operating a full-service rigging shop in a 4,000-sq ft warehouse in Spokane and plans to open a rigging shop at its Lewiston, ID, branch.
Rigging companies provide rope, wire rope, chains, cables, clips and other items used to secure and lift heavy loads. Fasteners also provides wire splicing and custom wire rope manufacturing.
Jones told the Spokane Journal of Business that offering rigging services is in response to customer demand. Fasteners Inc. sells to contractor, OEM and MRO customers. The company has 60 Spokane employees and 175 companywide.
