Jiaxing Fastener Exports – And Prices – Jump

The Jiaxing Fasteners Import & Export Manufacturers Association reports that the city’s fastener factories exported US$844 million worth of fasteners during the first ten months of 2008, up 52% from the previous 10-month period, according to China Industry Daily News. The average price jumped 37% to US$1,339 per ton.
Jaixing’s fastener export value accounts for about 20% of China’s overall fastener export value, and represents more than 40% of fastener exports coming out of Zhejiang Province. �2008 FastenerNews.com
