PM Fasteners appointed Jim Spear as CEO. Spear started at PM Fasteners in 1972 as a warehouse employee before advancing to truck driver, QA, warehouse manager and eventually chief operating officer.
John Pohlhaus is in his second year as vice president of sales and “has assisted (Spear) in growing the company in growth vertical markets and optimizing customer satisfaction,” the company stated. Prior to joining PM Fasteners, Pohlhaus served as manager of the ship sales department of Mitsubishi International Corp. in New York, served in Mitsubishi’s venture capital program, and helped co-found two venture backed energy-related companies.
In 2008 PM Fasteners owner and president Joe Mann will celebrate 40 years of co-founding the company.
