Tapco Expands Headquarters; Adds Inventory

Tapco Inc. completed expansion of the St. Louis headquarters it has occupied for 25 years. Office and warehouse space now totals 92,500 sq ft.
The addition allows an increase in elevator bolt inventory to over 12 million and adding 33 new sizes. “Elevator bolts are one of our specialties,”” executive vice president Ted Beaty noted.
Tapco also stocks elevator buckets, abrasion resistant sheeting, drag flights and hanger bearings. Tapco recently added a ninth injection-molding machine to increase elevator bucket production.
Tapco was founded in 1970s by president Paul Taylor and Beaty. Today Tapco exports to 50 countries and has stocking distributors in North America, Central America, South America, Australia, Western Europe and the Pacific Rim.
