Infast Names Sternick CEO

Infast Group plc named Robert Sternick as CEO. Sternick was managing director for Europe/Middle East/Africa with the Yale Security Group.\
Chairman Roger Leverton said that with Infast�s restructuring completed and that the “concentration is now on our core industrial fastener distribution business.” Leverton noted Sternick�s international marketing and distribution experience “will strengthen the group and support continued development.”
UK-based Infast acquired Fabricated Components of Atlanta earlier this year. Infast also has expanded in North America with a new operation in Savannah, GA for its Phildas Inc. division, to supply fasteners and components to JCB�s first manufacturing plant outside the U.S. Infast has supplied JCB�s eight UK factories for seven years. JCB will produce backhoe loaders in the U.S. Mitch Booth overseas the U.S. operations. Phildas also distributes to Ford.
