IFI Honors Dorflinger, Reiland and Bahadrian With 2008 Soaring Eagle Awards

Max Dorflinger, Bernie Reiland and Joseph Bahadrian were honored with the Industrial Fasteners Institute’s 2008 Soaring Eagles Awards.
Dorflinger, president of Nylok, received the Ward Leadership Award for business and IFI leadership and as a “significant contributor in the development of non-metallic fastener locking technology.”
Reiland, retired from Camcar, received the Trowbridge Technology Award for “significant life-long contributions to technical advancements in the fastener industry” and the development of fastener drive systems that have been adopted worldwide.
Bahadrian was given the Case Meritorious Service Award for development and maintenance of national, international and IFI fastener standards. Bahadrian is retired from Ifastgroupe.
The awards were presented March 18 at the IFI’s annual meeting. The IFI is an association of North American manufactures of bolts, nuts, screws, rivets, pins, washer and custom formed parts, and suppliers. The IFI reports 82 manufacturing members and 24 associate members. Web: indfast.org
