The Early Bird discount for registering for the National Industrial Fastener Show/East is April 11, 2008. The 28th annual trade show will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 21, 2008, in Columbus, OH.
Early Bird registration is $35; after April 11 $40; and onsite $50.
The one-day Fastener Specifications & Terminology conference by the Los Angeles Fastener Association is $395 by April 11 and $495 after. The Western Association of Fastener Distributors conference on the U.S./Asian Fastener Market Trends is $150 by April 11 or $200 later.
As of February 11, NIFS posted 101 companies with 116 booths. Show management predicted the number of exhibits will reach 200. The 2007 show in Atlanta drew 221 booths with 205 exhibiting companies. The last show in Columbus in 2006 had 185 booths. The NIFS booth record is 829 last fall in Las Vegas.
