The Fastener Industry Education Group’s white paper on fastener quality is available for free download at industrial-fasteners.org or nfda-fastener.org.

The 20-page white paper is entitled “The Proper Designation and Use of Standards by End-Users and Suppliers Is Critical to Fastener Quality.”

FIEG is a joint effort of the National Fastener Distributors Association and the Industrial Fasteners Institute to assure the quality of fasteners entering the marketplace.

NFDA president Joel Roseman pointed out that the white paper is deliberately not copyrighted so distributors, manufacturers, suppliers and fastener users are welcome to reproduce for customers or others. “You are welcome to print it out and put your own logo on it,” Roseman added. �2007 FastenerNews.com
