GKS Inspection Services announced it is seeking to acquire small engineering and metrology companies in the U.S. GKS provides dimensional measurement, 3D laser scanning and terrestrial scanning, has U.S. offices in Detroit, Minneapolis and Seattle and locations in India, Korea, China, Taiwan, Singapore and the Netherlands.
GKS uses an employee-partner program for self-employed engineers and metrologists already providing inspection and scanning services. They sell their business to GKS while maintaining their regional markets. GKS provides access to high-tech equipment, additional staffing, marketing and business management services so the employee/partners can focus on technical services.
