STAFDA Announces Four More Workshops

The Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association announced four additional workshop programs for its 31st annual convention, November 4-6, 2007, in Nashville.
The concurrent afternoon workshops will be: Al Bates, “Making Money in a Tough Market;” Alan Beaulieu, “Planning for Change;” Mike Foster, “Protecting Your Vital Business Systems;” and Laura Stack, “Time Management.”
The convention begins with the Technology & Consultants’ Fair. And STAFDA consultants and service providers hosting tabletop discussions. Accounts/receivable consultant Abe WalkingBear Sanchez and Sentry Insurance consultant Doug Austin will present workshops.
Country music star Martina McBride will perform at a STAFDA concert at the Grand Ole Opry House. STAFDA president Greg Drouillard, will give the Distributor State-of-the-Industry report, and Mike Fraser, president of Stabila, presents the Associate State-of-the-Industry address.
Chris Gardner, subject of the movie The Pursuit of Happyness, will discuss his experiences and rags-to-riches triumphs.
The Monday and Tuesday trade show is expected to top 900 exhibitors offering 35 product categories.
