German, U.S. Manufacturers Open Joint Venture Plant in Mexico

ATF Inc. and EJOT GmbH opened EJOT & ATF Fasteners de Mexico S. en C.S. a joint venture manufacturing and distribution plant in Mexico to supply Mexican customers and growing local demand for engineered fasteners.
The new 37,000 sq ft plant is located at the Parque Industrial Millennium, San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
Manufacturing is scheduled to begin in July. San Luis Potosi is located along 57 Highway, know as the NAFTA highway. General Motors will open a plant there in 2008.
EAFM will by operated by a team of people from Mexico, Germany and the U.S.
ATF produces engineered fasteners for automotive interiors, exteriors, lighting, mirrors, plus high tolerance complex shape cold-headed products and assemblies for such critical automotive applications as brakes, suspension, steering, doors and underhood.
