Japan Power Fastening Reports Sales, Affirms Projections

Japan Power Fastening Co. reported sales of 2.63 billion yen (US$21.9 million), operating income of 93 million yen (US$ 775,647), and net income of 21 million yen (US$175,146) during the first quarter of 2007.
The company reaffirmed its projections of 5.8 billion yen (US$48.64m) for the first six months of 2007, with net profit of 100 million yen (US$838,543). Full-year sales for 2007 are pegged at 12 billion yen (US$100.1m), with net profit of 300 million yen (US$2.5m).
During 2006 Japan Power Fastening sales declined 21% to 8.67 billion yen (US$72.7 million), while net income dropped 20% to 155 million yen (US$1.3m). �2007 FastenerNews.com
