Nifco Plans $8.5m Fastener Plant in Kentucky

Tokyo-based Nifco Inc. plans to establish a new subsidiary, Nifco North America, in the U.S. to manufacture industrial plastic fasteners and components for Japanese OEMs.
Nifco will invest $8.5 million to establish Nifco North America in Kentucky. By 2011, Nifco North America is expected to create around 150 jobs. Hiroshi Takigawa will serve as president of the new subsidiary. Web: nifco.com �2007 FastenerNews.com
