Sundram Reports Profit Jump

India-based Sundram Fasteners reported net profit soared 85% to Rs 25.44 crore (US$5.7m) during the second quarter of fiscal 2007, while sales increased 18% to Rs 312.9 crore (US$69.7m).
During the first six months of fiscal 2007 sales rose 17% to Rs 605.02 crore (US$134.75m), while net profit gained 40% to Rs 43.46 crore (US$9.7m). Web: sundram.com �2006 FastenerNews.com
