BE Aerospace Fastener Sales Soar

BE Aerospace reported distribution segment sales, including fasteners, soared 49.5% to a record $64.3 million, boosted by revenue from newly acquired New York Fasteners. Distribution income during Q3 jumped 48.35 to $12.9 million.
During the first nine months of 2006 distribution revenue increased 32.1%, pushing operating earnings up 37.7% to $36.5 million.
Consolidated Q3 sales grew 32.6% to a record $278.9 million, while quarterly earnings more than tripled to $31.4 million.
