Scrubex Names Bernacki
Srubex S.A. named Nikodem Bernacki director general. Bernacki has been a member of the senior management team at the Polish bolt manufacturer for three years.
Bermacki succeeds Wojiech Fedko, who resigned in December 2005.
Srubex recently opened a new $2.5 million warehouse. Other plant modernization, including a new threadroller, inspection equipment and an annealing furnace, will be installed this year.
The immediate emphasis is on sales to major distributors, Bernacki told Fastener & Fixing Europe. Srubex is aiming to supply stock items within five days across Europe and a new warehouse will allow Srubex to stock 1,000 standard items totaling 4,500 tons of finished bolts. In February 2005, following an IPO on the Warsaw Stock Exchange Srubex SA was formed, providing initial investment for modernization of the plant.
