Hamburg-based Achilles Seibert, renowned for its stocks of ‘die Langen Schlanken’ (long and slender) high tensile bolts, has opened an office in Shanghai. The facility is headed by Timo Scholle, son of company CEO Henning Scholle.
“As we import more and more container loads on behalf of our customers, it is essential we have our own presence in China, to assist the purchasing process and to ensure consistent quality,” explained Henning Scholle.
About 30% of Seibert revenue comes from exports, with sales destinations outside Europe including North America and South East Asia. Seibert”s range of DIN and ISO specification hexagonal and socket head products now extends from M1.6 to M56 diameters.
