Laser Design Acquires GKS Inspection

Laser Design Inc. acquired GKS Inspection Services to expand its dimensional inspection and reverse-engineering services business, CEO Martin Schuster announced.
Plymouth, MI-based GKS has been in the metrology business 24 years. “The acquisition has already been instrumental in our recent move from Livonia to a new facility in Plymouth,” GKS regional vice president Mohamed Abdelhafiz noted.
GKS offers laser and contact scanning for physical inspection and reverse engineering.
