RS Technologies Expands Gaging, Torque Services

John Wolz

RS Technologies expanded its gaging services and torque sensor equipment. “We have more than 50 years of combined experience in transducer design and engineering within the RS Technologies engineering staff,” president Ralph Shoberg noted. A new rotary torque sensor is designed for heavy-duty applications such as torque and position monitoring of threaded fasteners in the oil rig and building construction industries.

RS Technologies supplies custom strain gaging services to measure torque, force, pressure, weight or any combination in applications where standard sensors are not easily adapted. Founded in 1991, Farmington Hills, MI-based RS Technologies supplies precision transducers, threaded fastener technology and automated product testing systems.
