Bossard Grows in U.S., Asia

The Bossard Group announced U.S. sales grew 6.8% to CHF 137.3 million (US$108.2 million) during the first eight months of 2005. Bossard revenue in Asia jumped 27% to CHF 34.3 million, primarily due to growth in India. Bossard sales in Europe remained flat at CHF 172.4 million during the period.
Overall Bossard sales rose 1.8% to CHF 344 million (US$271 million) during the first eight months of 2005, while net income dipped 8% to CHF 14.6 million.
