MacLean Fogg, Cold Heading Form Joint Venture

MacLean Fogg Company and Cold Heading Company announced a joint venture agreement to provide automotive OEM fastener supply services from engineering to assembly line side delivery.
The joint venture company, Fastenet L.L.C., will be headed by David Sekela, a 19-year veteran in the fastener and logistics industry.
Cold Heading CEO Derek Stevens said the joint venture “matches two preeminent fastener suppliers who have complementary product lines. The creation of Fastenet allows us to compete in an automotive environment with far fewer suppliers, particularly within the area of single fastener platform supply.”
The company will initially be headquartered at Cold Heading�s STG Division in Warren, MI..
Mundelein, IL-based MacLean-Fogg is a diversified manufacturer with annual sales over $300 million.
Cold Heading has 12 manufacturing facilities and is headquartered in Warren. Sales this year are expected to top $180 million.
