Japan Boltmaker Expands

Japanese fastener maker Aoyama Seisakusho Co. will expand its Kumamoto plant to raise the facility’s automobile bolt output by some 30 million bolts a month to 176 million. The 5,800 sq ft expansion will enlarge the plant to more than 26,000 sq ft. The upgrade is scheduled to begin in April 2005. The company supplies fasteners to Toyota, Honda, Suzuki and Isuzu. �2004 FastenerNews.com
