Marmon Group Acquires Nylok

The Marmon Group of companies acquired Nylok Fastener Corporation.
Nylok president Max Dorflinger will continue to manage the Macomb, MI-based company.
Founded in 1942, Nylok supplies self-locking, self-sealing and thread protection processes for fasteners. Nylok has facilities totaling 170,000 sq ft in Lincolnwood, IL; Hawthorne, NJ; Anaheim, CA; and Brampton, Ontario. In addition, Nylok has licensees in 17 countries.
Nylok employs 275 people.
Chicago-based Marmon is an international association of more than 100 autonomous manufacturing and service companies with collective sales exceeding $6.5 billion.
