SPS Aerospace Inks Airbus Deal

SPS Aerospace Fasteners, a subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corp., signed a four-year contract, $72 million contract with Airbus to supply titanium pins, collars, nuts, and studs to Airbus facilities across Europe. This new contract increases SPS sales to Airbus by 20%. “SPS has enjoyed great success with Airbus over many years, and we are committed to continuing that relationship for many more years,” stated PCC CEO Mark Donegan.
SPS Aerospace is a part of PCC”s new Fastener Products segment with about $550 million in annual revenue. Headquartered in Jenkintown, PA, the fastener division is headed by Steve Hackett. Portland, OR-based PCC purchased SPS in late 2003. Web: precast.com �2004 FastenerNews.com
