ACQUISITION: Questron Acquires B&G Supply
John Wolz
Questron Technology Inc. acquired Tyler, TX-based B&G Supply Company Inc.
Questron said the initial maximum purchase price is $1.7 million, consisting of $500,000 in cash, the assumption of approximately $200,000 of debt and the balance in Questron stock. Further consideration may be paid on future operating results.
B&G provides inventory logistics management programs and such services as precision machining of fabricated parts for primarily Texas OEMs and has annual revenue of about $2.5 million.
Dominic Polimeni, CEO of Boca Raton, FL-based Questron, noted that B&G expands our presence in yet another key geographic region, further enhancing our ability to provide inventory logistics management services to our national OEM customers.
B&G also brings to Questron expertise in machining large and small fabricated parts, Polimeni pointed out. B&G will be the lead branch office and national coordinating center servicing our recently signed inventory logistics management agreement with Trinity Industries Inc., scheduled to begin in mid-February 2000.
