Abbott-Interfast Receives ISO Certification

Abbott-Interfast Corp. received that its quality management system received ISO 9001:2008 certification, vice president Bob Baer announced.
The ISO system requires company quality system goals and objectives and a customer focus with employees. The company must strive for continual improvement using internal audits.
Founded in 1948, Abbott-Interfast is a privately-held corporation supplying fasteners, screw machine products, assemblies and plastic knobs through its OEP Inc. division. Abbott-Interfast sells fasteners worldwide, but primarily supplies North American manufacturers. Abbott-Interfast is based at a 5-acre, 100,000 sq ft facility at 190 Abbott Dr., Wheeling, IL 60090.
