1986 FIN – Son Buys Miniature Fastener Company From Father
January 15, 1986 FIN – Clark Miniature Fastener Corp. has been purchased by Richard Clark and Douglas Allen from Kenneth Clark.
The Smithfield, Rhode Island manufacturer of miniature (less than 1/2” long) pins, rivets, screws and fasteners, was founded in 1980 by Kenneth Clark. Richard Clark is his son and has 12 years experience in tooling and miniature fasteners. He has been vice president for five years.
Douglas Allen, who is vice president for sales & marketing, was most recently an account executive and in the news department of radio station WWON/WNEF in Woonsocket, RI.
