Beneke Wire Company chairman David Beneke announced management team promotions: Vice president of manufacturing Kenneth Downs Jr., who joined Beneke Wire in 1984 as a metallurgist, added general manager to his title. David Sledge, who started with Beneke in 1974, added marketing to his vice president of sales role. Reda Caudill is the new treasurer; Stephen Beneke, assistant vice president and corporate secretary; and Michael Beneke, assistant vice president.
