After ending the year in a slump, both U.S. export and import data released by the U.S. Census Bureau indicate strong demand for fasteners in North America and abroad, Zepol reports.
But the rebound wasn’t limited to the U.S. Taiwan, which saw its exports decline in 2012, started 2013 off with strong growth in its fastener exports to the U.S., as did Germany and China, which reported fastener imports and exports of Jiaxing city dropping 5.7% to $989 million in 2012.
