Carpenter Tech Broadens Reach in 3D Printing Market

Carpenter Technology Corporation (NYSE:CRS) has entered into a supply relationship with Burlington, Massachusetts-based Desktop Metal, Inc., utilizing more than 20 CarTech® alloy grades to be used in Desktop Metal’s end-to-end metal 3D printing systems. The powders will be used in premium materials cartridges. The new partnership reinforces Carpenter’s position as a leading global producer of specialty wire and powder metals for additive manufacturing.
