4th Fastener Tech Opens
The Chicago Bolt, Nut & Screw Association was founded in 1946 and held its first tabletop trade show 32 years ago.
In 2004, CBNSA became the Mid-West Fastener Association.
In 2007 MWFA worked with Fastener Technology International to create a biennial show – Fastener Tech – which alternates with an MWFA Table Top trade show in even-numbered years.
The fourth Fastener Tech opens today with 147 exhibiting companies at Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, IL.
The events begin Monday with a Fastener Training Institute workshop. The trade show is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday.
There are conference sessions on Tuesday and an evening networking reception.
The National Fastener Distributors Association’s spring conference begins Wednesday at the nearby Intercontinental Hotel Chicago O’Hare.
