1993 FIN – NFDA to Sponsor Tabletop Trade Show
July 21, 1993 FIN – The National Fastener Distributors Association will sponsor a tabletop trade show during their autumn conference in San Antonio, Texas.
The NFDA conference will be September 29 to October 2, 1993, at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort.
The NFDA’s 1st Annual Industry Trade Fair, which will be located adjacent to the area where the NFDA will be holding its general sessions, is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, September 29 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Booths are $150 each (with an optional additional $475 per person fee to attend the entire NFDA meeting). Each booth features an 8 ft. high draped back, 3 foot sides, skirted table, two chairs and sign.
This is the first time that NFDA, which was founded in 1968, has sponsored such a show.
The NFDA has mulled the idea of having exhibits, similar to those held by other associations, like the Chicago Bolt, Nut & Screw Association and the Southeastern Fastener Association, but apparently there wasn’t that much membership support for the idea at the time.
