Hayes is a 13-year old full line distributor, stocking 30,000 items.

September 27, 1984 FIN – Suzanne M. Dukes is now the sole owner and president of Hayes Bolt & Supply.
Dukes had been employed by Hayes Bolt since 1976 and managed the San Diego, CA distributorship since Bill Hayes moved to Hawaii in 1980.
Dukes is a native San Diegan and after her experience with two local distributors she joined Bill Hayes in 1976 to help him start Hayes Bolt. They grew from a two-person company to the 15-person group it is today.
The company currently stocks some 25,000 line items.

1992 FIN – Hayes Bolt Accepted as General Dynamics Supplier
January 16, 1992 FIN – Hayes Bolt & Supply has been accepted into the General Dynamics Superior Supplier Program.
Suzanne Dukes, president of the 15-year-old San Diego distributorship, told FIN that her company’s performance since March 1991 in filling the needs of General Dynamics J.I.T. program accounted for its inclusion as a supplier.
